From Trailers to Transformation: A Timeline of Growth
1975
Started
Juniper Centre is founded in response to the need for a day program in Thompson, MB for adults living with disabilities.

1987
Growing demand and aging infrastructure call for a new facility to replace the original trailers.

1988–1989
Months of planning and community-driven fundraising lead to the opening of a modern facility on Nelson Road.

2007
Juniper Centre Inc. merges with Cambridge Residence Inc., expanding to include residential services with two homes.

2012
A major $210,000 renovation funded entirely by community efforts makes the building fully wheelchair accessible.

Today
Juniper Centre operates six residential homes and a Supported Independent Living program, while continuing to innovate in its day programs and community services.
